First Heat Race

Nulf finished first in this race but was disqualified for using illegal tires.

A Feature Race - 14 Cars - 12 Laps

Wilson started on the pole and led the first half of the race.  Dornbush started on the outside of the front row and ran in second place until he passed Wilson.  Nulf started outside of the seventh row.

 

 

 

            More thumper heat races and a dash plus modified and street stock heat races and dashes were also run on this evening but results of any of those races have yet to be located.  N. C. R. A. late model stock cars were also scheduled to compete on this evening but races for that division were canceled due to a schedule conflict.
