ABOVE: Tommy Kristin is shown seated in the newly aquired Hisso he had purchased from Frank Merkler reportedly for $1,000.  Kristin drove it a few times before being called up to be a bombardier in World War II.  He was killed overseas and his widow sold the car to Bayliss Levrett – Harold Merkler collection
